Boise crew moves into a second bay

The Boise yard has outgrown one bay. A second opens in March, with two crews and a stocked warehouse.

Boise crew moves into a second bay

Boise opened with one bay and one crew in 2023. Both are now booked out far enough ahead that the schedule, not demand, is the constraint.

What the second bay adds

  • Two resident crews instead of one, both directly employed.
  • Racking and module stock held locally rather than trucked from Portland.
  • Service response inside southern Idaho measured in hours, not days.

The reason for a second bay rather than a bigger travel radius is simple: crews that sleep at home build better work, and stock held on site is the difference between a two-hour service call and a two-day one.
