Build notes

Three schools and a carport on one filing

Three school roofs and a carport, filed as one interconnection rather than four. That decision saved a full study cycle and let the whole district energise in the same month.

All roof work ran inside the summer break. The carport, which needed foundations, was built in term time behind hoarding at the far edge of the staff lot.

What was installed

  • 738 modules at 555 W across three roofs
  • A 60 kW solar carport with two EV charge points
  • Four string inverters, one per site, on a single export agreement
  • Public production dashboard for classroom use

One filing instead of four saved the district a full study cycle.

Production data is published on a public dashboard the district uses in its own science curriculum.
